Is this supplier safe to pay?
The Supplier risk agent watches whether your suppliers are verified, whether you hold their account details, how concentrated your spend is and when a new payee appears. A purchase from an unverified supplier is held until someone verifies it.

Held until verified: one finding, one verb.
What it watches
Your whole supplier base, not just the next payment.
Verification status, the account details you hold, where spend is concentrated, new counterparties on the bank feed and shifts in buying behaviour.

What it catches
One finding per issue, each with one thing to do.
Choose a finding type to see an example. Each one says what happened, why it matters in pounds and what to do.

- Day one Unverified suppliers, no suppliers on file and a long tail of one-offs, surfaced the moment you connect.
Why it matters
Phantom suppliers and misdirected payments start with an unverified record.
Unverified suppliers and missing account details are where fraud and payment errors begin. Concentration and a long tail are where leverage is lost and resilience is thin.

Reads, checks, finds, routes.
Every agent runs deterministic checks over your real documents and data, raises one deduplicated finding per issue and routes it to a person with one suggested action. No agent pays, voids, re-prices or closes anything on its own.
- 01ReadsSupplier accounts, verification results, statement history and spend measures.
- 02ChecksVerification as a hold that blocks the purchase; the rest as deterministic findings.

What it never does
- Changes a supplier record
- Verifies a supplier on its own
- Releases a held payment
The autonomy ceiling: approving, paying and changing a supplier’s status each go through one checkpoint that accepts evidence or a person.

Questions
About the Supplier risk agent.
What happens when a supplier isn’t verified?
Any purchase from it is held until someone verifies the supplier, so the payment can’t run in the meantime.
Does it catch changed bank details?
A new or changed payee is checked before it can be paid. New payees on the bank feed above a materiality floor are raised as findings.
Does it change supplier records?
No. It flags and routes. Verifying, matching or consolidating suppliers is done by a person.
