Did we pay the price we agreed?
The Price agent checks every invoice line against the price agreed on your supplier account and against what you paid for the same product before. When a line is charged above the agreed price, it works out the extra paid and raises one finding, so you can ask for the credit.

One finding: the extra paid, with one thing to do.
What it watches
Every line, measured two ways.
Each invoice line is measured against the price effective on your supplier account on the invoice date, and against your own buying history for the same product. The agent also catches a supplier moving a product to a new code (which would reset its price history) and subscription prices creeping up on your bank feed.

What it catches
One finding per issue, each with one thing to do.

Why it matters
An agreed price is only worth what’s invoiced.
The gap between agreed, historic and charged is where real, recoverable money sits. A line charged above the agreed rate is a credit you can ask for, and the Credits agent tracks it until it arrives.

Reads, checks, finds, routes.
Every agent runs deterministic checks over your real documents and data, raises one deduplicated finding per issue and routes it to a person with one suggested action. No agent pays, voids, re-prices or closes anything on its own.

Questions
About the Price agent.
What does the Price agent compare each line against?
The price effective on your supplier account on the invoice date, and your own history for the same product, weighted by the quantity you’ve bought. It doesn’t compare your prices with other customers.
Does it change prices or payments?
No. It prepares the finding and the figures. A person decides whether to query the price, and the Credits agent tracks any credit that follows.
What happens when a supplier changes a product code?
The agent links the old and new codes, so the price history carries across and a rise can’t hide behind a new code.
