Did we buy what we agreed to buy?
The Catalogue compliance agent finds invoice lines bought outside your catalogue: products in a category your supplier’s catalogue covers, but not priced on your account. Each one is a finding with the invoice and the amount, and a suggestion to add the item to the catalogue or switch to the listed alternative.

One finding: switch item, or add it to the catalogue.
What it watches
Every line against the list you agreed.
Invoice lines from the last 30 days are checked against the catalogue coverage worked out for each supplier account. For every supplier the agent knows which categories the catalogue covers, then checks each line against that coverage.

What it catches
One finding per issue, each with one thing to do.

- Coverage, not nagging Lines in categories the catalogue doesn't cover count towards your coverage percentage but aren't raised as breaches.
- Unresolved lines handed on A line it can't resolve to a product goes to Document quality, not mislabelled as off-catalogue.
Why it matters
The discount only applies to what’s ordered from the list.
Off-catalogue buying is where negotiated pricing leaks away. Surfacing the lines that slipped off the list is the first step to pulling that spend back under contract.
No live figure yet. We'll publish one, with its method, once a customer's catalogue has run for a full period.
What we have measured so farHow it works
Reads, checks, finds, routes.
Every agent runs deterministic checks over your real documents and data, raises one deduplicated finding per issue and routes it to a person with one suggested action. No agent pays, voids, re-prices or closes anything on its own.
- 01ReadsInvoice lines and one shared catalogue-coverage measure, not its own version of coverage.
- 02ChecksIs the line in a category the catalogue covers, and is the product priced on your account?
- 03FindsOne finding per off-catalogue line, deduplicated, naming the invoice and the net amount.
- 04RoutesTo the buyer, with one verb: switch item or add to catalogue.
What it never does
- Edits a catalogue
- Re-prices a line
- Raises lines the catalogue was never meant to cover
The autonomy ceiling: approving, paying and changing a supplier’s status each go through one checkpoint that accepts evidence or a person.

Questions
About the Catalogue compliance agent.
What counts as off-catalogue?
A product in a category your supplier’s catalogue covers that isn’t priced on your account. Lines in categories the catalogue doesn’t cover aren’t raised as breaches.
Will it flag everything we buy outside the list?
No. Only lines in categories the catalogue was meant to cover. The rest show in your coverage percentage.
Does it change the catalogue?
No. It suggests adding the item or switching to the listed alternative. A buyer makes the call.
