Is this invoice real, and is it the only one?
The Fraud and duplicates agent catches the same invoice paid twice, spend split to stay under an approval limit and approval patterns that look like collusion. A suspected duplicate is held before it’s paid, and every pattern becomes one finding routed to a person.

Why it matters
These are the findings with the clearest pound value.
A duplicate paid is cash straight out of the door. A split purchase or a cosy approval loop is a control being worked around.
payments on one live operator look like duplicates or fraud and are flagged for a person to investigate. They're counted nowhere until someone confirms.

Reads, checks, finds, routes.
Every agent runs deterministic checks over your real documents and data, raises one deduplicated finding per issue and routes it to a person with one suggested action. No agent pays, voids, re-prices or closes anything on its own.

- 02ChecksDeterministic database checks for matching invoices, split spend and approval timing.

What it never does
- Voids an invoice
- Pays or stops a payment on its own
- Accuses anyone: it shows the pattern and the evidence
The autonomy ceiling: approving, paying and changing a supplier’s status each go through one checkpoint that accepts evidence or a person.

Questions
About the Fraud and duplicates agent.
Can the agent stop a payment?
A suspected duplicate becomes a hold, so it isn’t paid until a person reviews it. The agent never voids an invoice or makes a payment itself.
What does it treat as a duplicate?
An invoice matching one already paid on supplier, amount and reference, or two payments of the same amount to the same payee within a few days.
Does it watch for changed bank details?
New and never-seen payees are detected and routed to the Supplier risk agent, which holds payment until the supplier is verified.
